Benvenuti al 21mo numero di “Fenice
Scuol@Europa News”. La nostra newsletter si rivolge a chiunque sia interessato ai progetti europei di partenariato, ma in particolare a coloro che sono interessati ai temi affrontati da questi progetti.
La newsletter descrive i progetti in cui la FENICE è coinvolta come promotore o partner ed i prodotti sviluppati da partenariati transnazionali, con il sostegno della Commissione Europea, nell'ambito del programma di apprendimento permanente.
Ci auguriamo che questa newsletter contribuisca a promuovere i risultati, i materiali e metodi in un pubblico più ampio, e incoraggi lo scambio di idee ed esperienze.
La nostra associazione Federazione Nazionale Insegnanti Centro di Iniziativa per l'Europa mira a migliorare le caratteristiche professionali degli insegnanti e gli standard delle scuole statali e ad accrescere le riforme democratiche. L'associazione affronta i problemi politici, sociali e culturali legati al mondo della scuola, all’insegnamento e alla crescita professionale degli insegnanti.
La FENICE pubblica anche un periodico in lingua italiana chiamato Scuol@Europa. Questa newsletter è pubblicata, invece, in tre lingue e inviata come e-mail in formato HTML, e mostra le notizie in breve con link al sito FENICE e ai siti dei relativi progetti, in modo da poter accedere ai relativi articoli o documenti. § Imparare le lingue neolatine o il russo con l’aiuto delle canzoni, YouTube e karaoke
Dopo un consistente lavoro di cinque anni svolto da tre partenariati di apprendimento Grundtvig, “Languages and Integration through Singing”, “French and Spanish language competence through songs” e “Find A Delightful Opportunity to learn Portuguese through Internet and songs” è ora online la versione aggiornata e completa del sito www.languagesbysongs.eu
Al fine di incoraggiare l’innovazione nell’istruzione, fornire adeguate risposte didattiche e metodologiche come pure tecnologie innovative adatte ai gruppi target (docenti di lingue neolatine o russo come L2 e loro studenti di varie età), i suddetti partenariati si sono proposti la disseminazione di un nuovo metodo di insegnamento di una lingua straniera che abbina l’uso di canzoni con l’uso di karaoke e materiali audio-visivi inseriti sul web. Questo approccio permette un apprendimento on demand della lingua appropriato alle diverse età e tipologie dei discenti e permette l’uso di nuove tecnologie basate su Internet, YouTube e lavagna multimediale interattiva.
Il materiale didattico, relativo ai livelli A e B del CEFR, è rivolto a discenti dotati di competenze linguistiche almeno A1 e si basa sulle Linee Guida che illustrano il quadro metodologico, l’introduzione al metodo e suggerimenti su come introdurre l’approccio musicale nell’insegnamento di una lingua e su come scrivere degli esercizi da soli.
Il sito web, in 7 lingue
(IT/FR/ES/PT/RO/RU più EN), contiene:

informazioni generali sul progetto (obiettivi, attività e risultati attesi);
·
linee guida sull’uso delle canzoni nell’insegnamento/apprendimento di una
lingua, istruzioni sull’uso dei materiali didattici e su come produrli in
proprio;
· 136 esempi di materiali didattici comprendenti video e karaoke di ciascuna canzone, attività e fogli di lavoro con suggerimenti pratici per i docenti di lingua, contenuti morfosintattici, esercizi di apprendimento della lingua finalizzati ad una autovalutazione da parte degli allievi, esercizi orali con uso del karaoke;
I prodotti sono stati sperimentati da 112 docenti di 15 paesi. In base alle statistiche Shinystat del 01/10/2013 il sito è stato visitato 25960 volte da persone di 100 paesi.
I docenti di una lingua neolatina o russo come L2, se interessati, possono inviarci le loro unità didattiche. Se esse risulteranno redatte secondo le linee guida, verranno pubblicate nel sito con l’indicazione dell’autore.

L’Iniziativa dei Cittadini Europei: "Un’educazione europea di elevata qualità per tutti”
Entro la fine di ottobre 2013 si può firmare per poter sostenere questa ICE!
L’associazione
MEET ha lanciato in Europa
un’iniziativa di cittadini Europei, (ICE) usando i nuovi poteri previsti nel
Trattato UE di Lisbona che danno ai cittadini il diritto di richiedere nuove
leggi direttamente da parte della Commissione Europea, posto che siano
raccolte sufficienti dichiarazioni di sostegno. La Fenice propone di
supportare l’iniziativa dei cittadini europei:
“Un’Educazione
europea di qualità elevata per tutti”
e di diffonderla il più possibile. Si
avvicina la scadenza di fine ottobre 2013 per poter sostenere questa ICE.
Sottoscrivi qui sul sito della Commissione Europea.
L’ICE propone di definire
un modello educativo di qualità, pluralistico e orientato alla strategia di
crescita dell'UE 2020. Riguarda tutte le scuole pubbliche, a partire dalla
scuola primaria per concludersi con il Diploma Europeo.
Perché sostenere l’ICE?
Primo: per la centralità del giovane, come persona e come cittadino. Questo
tramite l’educazione alla cittadinanza, un’educazione interculturale e una
scuola più inclusiva contro la dispersione scolastica e con i programmi di
scambio come Erasmus +. Secondo: per la centralità dello studente, che possa
scegliere (lui o i suoi genitori) un’educazione di elevata qualità,
indipendentemente dalle possibilità economiche.
Come realizzare
un’educazione di qualità per tutti? Il
curricolo scolastico è lo
strumento che le scuole hanno a disposizione. L’ICE suggerisce di mettere a
confronto in modo analitico i diversi curricoli nella UE, in modo da
identificare le migliori pratiche.
Come realizzare un
curriculo di qualità che conduca al Diploma europeo? Una roadmap con tempi
certi ed un piano di finanziamenti addizionali dall’UE, per incentivare la
transizione a quella quota (tra il 10% e 20%) di curriculo comune nei paesi
dell’UE. Una roadmap che ne promuova l’implementazione sulla base del merito
e della trasparenza.
Una rivoluzione
copernicana per mettere al centro il giovane? Per poter scegliere scuole e
curriculi che riconoscano e valorizzino i suoi talenti. Significa anche
promuovere un sistema dove poter valutare le scuole in modo trasparente
e valorizzare davvero gli insegnanti meritevoli come risorsa principale
della scuola.

Issue n. 21 - October 2013
Welcome to the twenty-first issue of “Fenice
Scuol@Europa News”. Our newsletter addresses anyone who is
interested in European Projects, but in particular those people who are
interested in the themes these projects deal with.
This issue describes the projects FENICE is involved in as a promoter or
partner and the products developed by transnational partnerships, with the
support of the European Commission, within the framework of the Lifelong
Learning Programme.
We hope that this issue will help to promote these results, materials
and methods to a wider audience, and it will encourage the exchange of ideas
and experiences as well.
First we would like to tell you who we are in the hope that we may start a productive collaboration.
Our association Federazione Nazionale Insegnanti Centro di iniziativa per l’Europa aims at improving the professional characteristics of teachers and the standards of state schools and at enhancing democratic reforms. The association tackles the political, social and cultural problems connected to the school world, the teaching job and the professional growth of teachers.
FENICE publishes also a paper magazine called Scuol@Europa issued only in its Italian version. The newsletter is published, instead, in three languages and sent at least two times a year as an html-formatted e-mail, displaying news in short with links to the FENICE website and to the relating project websites, where full access to the relevant articles or documents is provided. After the five-year work
carried out by three Grundtvig partnerships, Languages and Integration
through Singing, French and Spanish Language Competence through Songs
and Find a Delightful Opportunity to Learn Portuguese, the complete
and revised version of the site www.languagesbysongs.eu
is now available on line.
In order to encourage innovation in the teaching/learning process, to
give adequate methodological answers as well as innovative technologies
suitable for the target groups involved (L2 teachers of Romance languages or
Russian and their students), the above mentioned partnerships have decided
to spread the knowledge of a new technique of teaching a foreign language
which combines the use of songs and the use of karaoke and audiovisual
materials put on line. This approach allows on demand language learning
suitable for the learners’ different ages and types and allows the use of
new technologies based on the Internet, YouTube and the multimedia
interactive board.
The teaching material, corresponding to the CEFR Level A and B, is
addressed to learners who have at least
A1 language competence and is based on the guidelines dealing with
the methodological outline and the introduction to the method and giving
advice on how to introduce the music approach in the teaching of a language
and on how to write one’s own exercises as well.
The website, in 7 languages (Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese,
Romanian, Russian plus English) contains:

General information on the project (objectives, activities, outcomes)
•
Guidelines on the use of songs in the teaching/learning of a language,
instructions on the use of the teaching materials and on how to make one’s
own materials
•
136 examples of teaching materials including video and karaoke of each
song, activities and worksheets with practical advice for language teachers,
morph syntactic contents, language learning exercises which aim at enabling
self-evaluation in students, oral exercises with the use of karaoke.
The products have been tested by 112 teachers in 15 countries. On the
basis of the Shinystat statistics (01/10/2013) the site has been visited
25.960 times by people from a hundred countries.
L2 teachers of a Romance language or of Russian
can send us their teaching units, if they want to. If the materials
are written according to the guidelines, they will be published
and the name of the author will be mentioned.

The initiative of European Citizens: High quality European
education for all
You can sign such an initiative within the end of October 2013 !
MEET (Movement towards a European Education Trust) has launched throughout Europe an Initiative of European Citizens (ECI), using the new powers contemplated by the Lisbon EU Treaty which entitle citizens to ask the European Commission to enforce new laws, provided enough support statements have been gathered. FENICE suggests to support the initiative of European citizens “High Quality Education for All” and to make it known as widely as possible. Subscribe here on the European Commission Website within the end of October 2013 !
ECI propounds the definition
of a high quality pluralistic educational model, aiming at the
EU 2020 growth strategy. This model takes into consideration all
public schools, starting from the primary school up to the European
Certificate.
Why should we support ECI? First: in the name of young people’s
centrality as human beings and as citizens. This to be achieved thanks to
their being trained to be citizens, intercultural education and a school
able to keep students within the system and exchange
programmes
such as Erasmus Plus. Second: to give the student a central role, so that
either he/she or his/her parents may choose high quality schooling, no
matter what his/her means are.
How can a high quality education be achieved for all?
School curricula are means
available to all schools. ECI suggests that the different curricula should
be analytically compared so that the best practices may be identified.
How can we achieve a high
quality curriculum leading to a European Certificate? A road map with fixed
time limits and supplementary financing by the European Union, to spur the
transition to that share of curriculum
European Countries have in common (between 10% and 20%). A roadmap to
promote its implementation on the basis of merit and transparency.
A Copernican revolution to give young people a central position? To make
them able to choose schools and curricula which may acknowledge and enhance
their talents. It means also to
promote a system where schools can be judged in a clear way and good
teachers be really appreciated as the main resource in their schools.

"FENICE Scuol@Europa News". Notre newsletter est adressée
à tous ceux qui sont intéressés aux projets européens de partenariat,
en particulier à ceux qui sont intéressés aux thèmes que ces projets
abordent.
La newsletter décrit les
projets où FENICE est promoteur ou partenaire et les résultats produits par
l'activité des partenariats transnationaux, soutenus par la Commission
Européenne, à l'intérieur du programme d'apprentissage permanent.
Nous souhaitons que cette
newsletter contribue à promouvoir résultats, outils et méthodes auprès d'un
public plus vaste ainsi que l'échange d'idées et d'expériences.
Notre association Fédération

En
ligne, le site avec 136 unité didactiques
Après cinq ans d'un travail engageant fait par
trois partenariats d'apprentissage Grundtvig, “Languages and Integration
through Singing”, “French and Spanish language competence through songs” et
“Find A Delightful Opportunity to learn Portuguese through Internet and
songs”, la plus récente et complète version du site
www.languagesbysongs.eu est en ligne.
Dans le but d'encourager l'innovation dans
l'enseignement, de fournir d'adéquates réponses didactiques et
méthodologiques, ainsi que des technologies innovantes adaptées aux groupes
visés (enseignants de langues néolatines ou de russe L2 et leurs élèves de
différents âges), ces partenariats ont visé à la diffusion d'une nouvelle
méthode d'enseignement d'une langue étrangère à travers la chanson et le
karaoké soutenus par les outils audio-visuels insérés dans le web. Cette
approche permet un apprentissage sur demande de la langue adapté aux
différents âges et caractéristiques des apprenants; elle consent également
l'emploi de techniques prévoyant
Internet, YouTube et tableau multimédia interactif.
Les outils didactiques relatifs aux niveaux A et
B du CEFR, sont destinés aux apprenants qui possèdent un niveau de
compétence linguistique d'au moins A1; ils suivent les Lignes Guides
indiquant le cadre méthodologique, l'introduction à la méthode et les
suggestions pour introduire l'approche musicale dans l'enseignement d'une
langue et pour écrire des exercices tout seuls.

niveau L2, s'ils sont intéressés, peuvent nous envoyer leurs unités

L’Initiative des
Citoyens Européens:
"
Pour une éducation
européenne de qualité pour tous”
D'ici la fin d'
octobre 2013 on peut signer pour soutenir cette ICE!
Sur la
base des nouveaux pouvoirs prévus par le Traité UE de Lisbonne prévoyant le
droit des citoyens de demander de nouvelles lois directement à la Commission
Européenne, à condition qu'elles soient soutenues par un nombre suffisant de
déclarations en soutien, l’association
MEET a lancé en Europe une initiative de citoyens
Européens (ICE). FENICE propose de supporter cette initiative:
“Pour
une éducation européenne de qualité pour tous”
et de la diffuser le plus
possible. L'échéance étant proche (la fin d' octobre 2013),
Signez sur le site de la Commission Européenne.
L’ICE propose un model éducatif de qualité,
pluriel et orienté à l'évolution de l'UE 2020. Elle concerne tous les
établissements publiques, de l'école primaire au Diplôme Européen.
Pourquoi soutenir l’ICE? D'abord, parce que les
jeunes y sont protagonistes en tant que personnes et citoyens. Cela grâce à
l'éducation à la citoyenneté, à une éducation interculturelle et à un
enseignement plus attrayant, vue la dispersion scolaire, enrichi de
programmes d'échange tels Erasmus +. Ensuite, pour que l'apprenant puisse
choisir (lui-même ou ses parents) une éducation de haute qualité non
conditionnée par la situation financière.
Comment réaliser une éducation qualifiée pour
tous? Les établissements scolaires n'ont à leur disposition que le
curriculum scolaire. L’ICE
propose de comparer et d'analyser les différents curricula à l'intérieur de
l'UE, de façon à reconnaitre les meilleures pratiques.
Comment réaliser un curriculum qualifié qui
conduise au Diplôme Européen? Une roadmap avec temps définis et un plan de
financement de la part de l’UE, per encourager le passage au barème (entre
10% et 20%) de curricula communs dans les pays de l’UE. Une
roadmap qui en favorise le développement sur la base du mérite et de la
transparence.
Une telle révolution pour que les jeunes soient
protagonistes? Pour qu'ils puissent choisir établissements et curricula qui
reconnaissent et valorisent leurs talents? Il s'agit aussi de
proposer un système où l'on puisse
évaluer les établissements scolaires dans la transparence et vraiment
valoriser les enseignants qui le méritent comme une fondamentale ressource
de l'école.
